A rescue ability takes a card from play and moves it to a player’s Land of Redemption, where it becomes a Redeemed Soul.
How to PlayEdit
All rescue abilities are instantaneous. A rescue ability targets the card that is rescued.
- Targets must be in an opponent’s Land of Bondage.
- If a rescue ability causes a player to have the required number of Redeemed Souls to win (5 in Type I games and 7 in Type II games), then the game ends immediately, and the rescue ability cannot be interrupted. Otherwise, if a rescue ability is interrupted, then the Redeemed Soul is returned to the Land of Bondage it came from and becomes a Lost Soul.
